How to brief an AI agent so it gets it right the first time
Five simple habits that help Megsy understand what you want, from giving context to asking for the right format.

An AI agent is only as good as the brief it gets. The good news is that a great brief is easy once you know what to include. Here are five habits that make Megsy noticeably better at its job.
1. Start with the goal
Tell Megsy what the result is for. Write a product description is fine. Write a product description for our Instagram shop, aimed at first-time buyers, is much better.
2. Share the context you already have
Paste your notes, add the file or describe your audience. Megsy keeps everything in the conversation, so you only need to say it once.
3. Set the constraints
Budget, word count, tone, deadline and region all focus the work and save you from rewrites.
4. Ask for a format
A table, a checklist, a one-page brief or a slide deck. Naming the format up front gets you something you can use straight away.
5. Keep going in the same thread
Your first answer is a draft, not a verdict. Ask for changes in the same conversation and Megsy builds on what it already knows instead of starting over.
Try it on your next task and notice how much less back and forth you need.
